Provider relationship manager reports

Read annual performance reports on corporate providers

As well as providing reports on our individual care services, we publish a provider relationship manager (PRM) annual performance report.

PRM reports provide an overview on how effective corporate providers are at providing quality services and what improvements they need to make.

What is a corporate provider?

Corporate providers range from large-scale organisations to smaller niche providers who are recognised as specialists in their field of care. They cover private and voluntary sector organisations.

What is a PRM?

PRMs provide a bridge between CSCI and corporate providers.

Based within CSCI regional offices but with a national remit, each PRM acts as a key account handler for a number of eligible corporate providers of adult social services.

PRMs were introduced in response to concerns raised by corporate providers, particularly in relation to consistency, during the move from the National Care Standards Commission (NCSC) to CSCI.

The purpose of the PRM role is to:

  • Support the continued improvement of services
  • Provide an overview of the corporate provider’s services
  • Improve consistency
  • Act as a single point of contact
  • Provide advice and guidance
  • Act as a troubleshooter

What’s in the report?

PRMs produce annual reports for each of the corporate providers they have worked with over the preceding inspection year.

The reports contain:

  • Analysis of inspection findings and national minimum standards
  • Identification of strengths and areas for development
  • Identification of themes and significant issues
  • Highlighting of good practice
  • Presentation of the key findings

Why are the reports being published?

As part of the CSCI objective in providing transparency, annual performance reports are being made widely available for the first time.
