Jobs at CSCI

If you are looking for a challenge and are interested in working in social care, find out how you can work for us.

The Commission for Social Care Inspection is the single inspectorate for social care in England. We bring together regulation, inspection and review of all adult social care in the public, private and voluntary sectors.

We are a major force for improvement and in all our work put people who use social care first.

We welcome applications from all sections of the community and are particularly anxious to ensure proper representation in terms of gender, ethnicity and disability.

Please note that the Government has announced plans to create a new adult social care and health regulator (Care Quality Commission) from the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI), the Healthcare Commission and the Mental Health Act Commission. We anticipate, following legislation, that the new body will come into being in April 2009.
